No. You connect it yourself with the expansion cable.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping Shipping is included in the price, to the contiguous U.S. Full timelines are in the shipping policy.

Returns follow the stated return window — see returns & exchanges. Freight returns are arranged by our team.

Lithium battery shipments travel by ground only, never air, and can carry destination restrictions. Feeding household circuits through a transfer switch needs a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit and inspection.

Who it is for

For a HomePower 3600 that needs more hours

This is for someone who already owns or is buying a HomePower 3600 Plus or Pro Max and wants more runtime. It has no outlets, no inverter and no solar input of its own. It stores energy behind the station, and it does not run loads or charge without one.

  • 3,584 Wh per pack

One pack doubles a 3600 series system.

  • Up to five per station

Five packs reach 21.48 kWh on a 3600 Plus, or 21.5 kWh on a Pro Max.

  • Packs chain

Ports A and B link pack to pack, so the stack grows without rewiring.

  • UL 1973

UL 1973, SGS North America certificate SGSNA/25/SZ/00340U, with the HomePower 3600 Plus as host. Rated to 6,000 cycles at 70% capacity or better.

Plain answers

Will it work without a station?

No. A HomePower 3600 Plus or Pro Max is required. It does not run loads or charge on its own.

Will it let me run bigger loads?

No. Output stays governed by the station. If your problem is runtime, add packs. If a load will not start, more packs will not change that.

Does it fit an Explorer 5000 Plus?

No. It is listed for the HomePower 3600 Plus and Pro Max. The Explorer 5000 Plus uses the Battery Pack 5000 Plus.

How big is it?

14.8 x 12.5 x 9.0 in and 55.1 lb.
