The factory kit that doubles the flagship: an Explorer 5000 Plus and a Battery Pack 5000 Plus in one order — 10,080Wh of LiFePO4 behind 7,200W of output. Two or three days of essential circuits between charges, and the pack connects with one cable. Choose the configuration with the Smart Transfer Switch and the same system feeds up to twelve household circuits instead of cords.

This unit contains a large lithium iron phosphate battery. Lithium shipments travel ground only, never air, and can carry service or destination restrictions. Confirm with us before ordering to a remote, island or non-continental address.

Installation requirements

Used as a portable, none — loads plug into the station, not into your house wiring. Connecting it to household circuits through a transfer switch is a different job that requires a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit and an inspection.

Output, expansion and where an electrician becomes necessary

It can run substantial circuits, but 'whole house' depends entirely on what is on those circuits and for how long. Total the loads you actually need and work from there — our sizing guide shows the arithmetic including the inverter derate.

Not to use it as a portable. Yes, if you want it feeding household circuits through a transfer switch — that is a panel connection and needs a licensed electrician and usually a permit.

The station sits between the wall and your equipment and carries the load continuously, so when the grid drops there is no switchover gap at all. A computer, a modem or medical equipment keeps running rather than restarting.

Up to 60 kWh with battery packs. That is the main argument for buying at this tier rather than a fixed-capacity unit — you can start smaller and grow without replacing the station.

With up to 4,000 W of solar input it refills meaningfully rather than trickling, but real figures depend on panel count, orientation and the light you actually get — which in winter is a fraction of a panel's rating. Tell us your setup and we will work it through.
