The Sommer 2060 evo+ Smart Kit is a factory-configured 3/4 HP garage door opener bundle with SOMweb Wi-Fi, a wireless keypad, a light and two remotes already in the carton. Sommer builds it as one part number, so there is nothing to mis-spec and nothing to order separately. It is the shortest route to a German-built smart garage door opener that works on the first day.
Open the garage from your phone, without a bridge or a bodge
SOMweb is Sommer's own Wi-Fi module and it ships in this kit with its power cable and plug. You get open, close and status from your phone rather than a third-party dongle taped to the motor head. Because it is factory hardware, it is covered by the same dealer support as the operator.
Three ways in, so nobody is ever locked out
Two 4-button Pearl transmitters cover two cars. The Telecody+ wireless keypad in black and silver gives coded entry with no phone and no fob at all. The three-button wired wall control handles the inside of the garage. A dead phone battery is not an event.
One moving part, and a quieter door for it
Direct drive technology means a traveling motor gliding along a fixed chain, with one moving part for maximum force and longevity. The chain is galvanized, nickel-plated steel, pre-tensioned by springs, and wear and maintenance free. The evo+ puts the control unit in the ceiling-mounted motor head, so there is no separate wall housing to find space for.
Lit and audible, not just automated
A Lumi+ LED light and a Buzzer mini are both in the kit, on top of the LED lighting built into the motor carriage. The bay is lit when you walk in and the door tells you it is moving, which matters on a door that can now be opened from a phone in another room.
Sized honestly for the door it lifts
600 N of pull, about 3/4 HP equivalent, rated for doors up to 600 lb, on an 8 ft three-piece C-channel rail. Travel speed is 9.4 in/sec with a 40 percent duty cycle after S3. Soft start and stop run on a variable curve ramp, force and speed settings adapt over time as the door and the weather change, active motor braking runs during travel, and the operator pushes back in the closed direction if somebody tries to force the door. The emergency release can be disengaged and re-engaged anywhere in the travel.

Fit and compatibility
For sectional doors up to 8 ft tall and up to 600 lb, in a dry indoor location. SOMweb gives you open, close and status from your phone; Telecody+ gives keypad entry without a phone. The kit also accepts the wider Sommer 922.5 MHz SOMloq2 accessory range, including ENTRAkey, ENTRAsys+ and SOMlink.

Ships free by parcel carrier. The operator carton measures 45 x 9 x 6.5 in and weighs 33 lb.
California orders
Sommer will not ship a garage door operator without battery backup to a California address, and this kit does not include the Accu battery backup, so we cannot ship it into California. California law requires a residential garage door opener to have a battery backup function. If you are in California, contact us and we will quote an Accu-equipped Sommer configuration instead.
