ALLPOWERS R2500 V2 — Power Station, 2500W / 1920Wh, 1000W Solar
Free shipping to the contiguous U.S.
Description
The ALLPOWERS R2500 V2 is a 1,920 Wh LiFePO4 power station with 2,500 W of pure sine output and a 5,000 W peak. That covers a 15 A corded tool, a refrigerator or a sump pump, with headroom for a motor starting up.
It refills from a wall outlet in about 1.5 hours on Fast mode, takes up to 1,000 W of solar, and switches loads to battery in 15 ms or less when the grid drops. It weighs 54 lb, so it moves between the garage and the house.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery: Free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
At delivery: The unit weighs 54 lb. Check the carton before you sign, and contact us within 48 hours with photos if anything arrives damaged.
Key Features
Output: 2,500 W continuous pure sine wave, with a 5,000 W peak, across five 120 V outlets including an RV port.
Capacity: 1,920 Wh of LiFePO4, rated for 3,000 cycles to at least 80% capacity.
AC charging: Up to 1,500 W on Fast mode, 0 to 100% in about 1.5 hours. Standard and quiet modes charge slower and run quieter; the mode is set in the app.

What's Included
In the box: The R2500 V2, a 4.9 ft (1.5 m) AC charging cable, an MC4-to-XT60 solar charging cable, and the user manual.
Installation and Compatibility
Plug and play: Loads plug into the unit's own outlets. Connecting it to household circuits, through a transfer switch or an inlet, is electrical work for an electrician.
Solar panels: Any panel or string inside 12 to 150 V and 13 A. Check the open-circuit voltage of a series string against 150 V, and allow for cold mornings, when it rises. Every ALLPOWERS SE and SF panel we sell fits.
Placement: Use it in a dry place with room around the vents. It runs from 14°F and charges from 32°F.
Fast charging: On a shared or weak household circuit, use Standard or quiet mode.
Warranty
Term: 2 years, extended to 5 years with free product registration at allpowers.com.
Claims: Contact us first, with your proof of purchase and the serial number.
Returns: Within 30 days of delivery, under our return and refund policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an electrician?
Not to use it. Loads plug straight into it. Wiring it into your house circuits is a job for an electrician.
How long will it run my tools?
Divide 1,920 Wh by what you actually draw, then allow for inverter losses. A 100 W load runs many hours; a 1,500 W heat gun runs about an hour.
Why LiFePO4?
It runs cooler and lasts longer than NMC lithium. This pack is rated for 3,000 cycles to at least 80% capacity.
What does the UPS do?
It passes wall power to your loads and switches them to battery in 15 ms or less when the grid fails, so a freezer or a computer keeps running.
Shipping & returns
Returns follow the stated return window — see returns & exchanges. Freight returns are arranged by our team.
Lithium battery shipments travel by ground only, never air, and can carry destination restrictions. Feeding household circuits through a transfer switch needs a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit and inspection.
Who it is for
Where a power station stops backing up electronics and starts covering a day
1,920 watt-hours is where the math changes: a refrigerator, lighting and intermittent tool use across a full day rather than a laptop and a router for an evening. The 1,000W solar input is what turns that into multi-day coverage — a genuine recharge rate, not a trickle. This is the V2 revision of the R2500: same chassis and ports, new 48V 40Ah pack.

Built for a long outage
Capacity, recharge rate and the one limit worth knowing about
-
Recharge is the part that decides day two
Capacity determines how long the first day lasts; recharge rate decides whether there is a second one. Up to 1,000W of solar input means a stacked array of SE or SF panels puts real energy back between morning and afternoon rather than trickling. Confirm the input voltage window in the manual before wiring a series string.
Up to 1,000W solar input
-
Control and firmware without standing over it
State of charge, solar production and load draw are all visible in the ALLPOWERS app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and charging behavior is managed from the same screen. Firmware updates arrive over the air or by USB, so the unit picks up fixes and features across its service life instead of shipping frozen.

Plain answers
UPS switchover, runtime and solar recharge
What changed from the previous R2500?
The V2 revision moves to a 48V 40Ah LiFePO₄ pack rated at 1,920Wh (the previous generation was 2,016Wh) and drops the weight to 24.5 kg / 54 lb. The chassis, outlets and ports are unchanged — the two revisions are externally identical. Output is the same 2,500W continuous with 4,000W peak, and solar input is the same 1,000W maximum.
How fast is the UPS switchover?
15 ms. Fast enough that a freezer, a shop computer, networking gear or a sump pump keeps running through a grid failure rather than restarting.
How long will it run my tools?
Runtime is battery capacity divided by actual draw, minus inverter losses. With 1,920Wh of storage, a 100W trickle load runs far longer than a 1,500W heat gun. Total the wattage of what you actually intend to run rather than working from the 2,500W output figure.
Can I charge it from solar?
Yes — this model accepts up to 1,000W of solar input, which is a genuine recharge rate rather than a trickle. Pair it with ALLPOWERS SE or SF panels. The input window is 12-150V at up to 13A, so size any series string to stay inside 150V.
Do I need an electrician to use it?
No. This is a plug-and-play portable unit — you plug loads into it, not into your house wiring. Connecting a portable power station to household circuits or a panel is a different job entirely and does require a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit.
Why LiFePO₄ rather than standard lithium-ion?
Lithium iron phosphate runs cooler, tolerates full-depth cycling better and has a substantially longer usable cycle life than NMC lithium-ion. In an unconditioned garage that sees real temperature swings, that difference is the whole argument.
Before you order
This unit ships parcel. It weighs 24.5 kg / 54 lb and measures 456 x 360 x 346 mm, which keeps it inside standard parcel limits, though it is a two-hand lift.
This unit contains a lithium iron phosphate battery. Lithium battery shipments are subject to transport regulations and can carry service or destination restrictions. Confirm with us before ordering to a remote, island or non-continental address.
None. This is a plug-and-play portable unit: loads plug into it, not into your house wiring. Connecting any portable power station to household circuits or a panel is a different job that requires a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit.
Warranty term: 2 years, extending to 5 years when the unit is registered with ALLPOWERS at allpowers.com — registration is free and worth doing on delivery day. Returns are handled under our return and refund policy.
