Description

The HomePower 2000 Plus v2 with two SolarSaga 200 folding panels: the same 2,048 Wh station as the 500X kit, with 400 W of solar across two panels you handle one at a time.

If recharge speed matters more than handling, the 500X kit has the larger panel.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Free within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Cartons: The station and the rest of the kit can arrive in separate cartons, on different days. That is normal, so check each one on arrival.

Weight: The station is 41.45 lb with a top handle.

Key Features

Output: 2,400 W and 4,800 W surge, pure sine wave, from four 120 V, 20 A outlets. Two AC buttons control them in pairs.

UPS: Switches within 10 ms. Pass-through runs up to 1,800 W and drops to 1,440 W after 3 hours above 12 A. It does not support 0 ms switching, so do not use it on data servers or workstations.

Expansion: Up to five Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 units, model JBP-2000B, for 12 kWh. The older Battery Pack 2000 Plus does not fit.

Solar: Up to 800 W across two DC8020 ports at 16–60 V, 12 A per port. Use one, two, or four identical panels, never three.

Panels: Two 200 W SolarSaga 200 bifacial panels, IP68, one on each port. Each weighs 14.33 lb, folds to 23.6 × 23.5 × 1.6 in, and opens to 89.8 × 23.5 in.

Priority: Set which outlets stay on, and at what battery level, in the app.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping Shipping is included in the price, to the contiguous U.S. Full timelines are in the shipping policy.

Returns follow the stated return window — see returns & exchanges. Freight returns are arranged by our team.

Lithium battery shipments travel by ground only, never air, and can carry destination restrictions. Feeding household circuits through a transfer switch needs a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit and inspection.

Who it is for

For a mid-size kit with lighter panels

This is the same 2,048 Wh station as the 500X kit. The difference is the solar: two 200 W panels that are lighter to deploy. You get 400 W rather than 500 W, so if recharge speed matters more than handling, the 500X kit is the better fit.

  • Two 200 W panels

    IP68, one on each port.

  • 2,400 W continuous

    4,800 W surge from the HomePower 2000 Plus v2.

  • 10 ms UPS, 6,000 cycles

Cycles rated to 70% capacity or better.

  • Half the solar ceiling

The station takes 800 W, and four identical panels need two adapters.

Plain answers

Can I add battery capacity?

Yes. Battery Pack 2000 units take the system to 12 kWh.

What does the kit weigh?

The station is 41.45 lb. No combined kit weight is published.
