The Hydro 3 is a cordless robotic pool cleaner for an owner who wants a clean pool without an app. Slide the switch on, lower it in, and it runs one automatic cycle across the floor, walls, and waterline for up to 200 minutes.
It suits pools up to 1,076 sq ft (100 m²). It follows a random path rather than rows, and there are no modes or schedules to set. For those, the Hydro 3 S is the step up.

What's Included
In the box: Robot, power adapter with AC cord, retrieval hook, and file envelope. A pool pole is not included.
Installation and Compatibility
Charging: Charge outdoors, out of direct sun, with the port dry. Do not charge it indoors or stand it on end.
Battery: Built in and not replaceable.
Swimmers: Take it out before anyone swims. No one may be in the pool while it runs.
Chemicals: Do not run it in water with liquid flocculants or clarifiers, which can block or damage the filter.
Filter care: Replace the filter at least every three months in use. It is replaced as a whole basket, sold separately, and only the 180 μm nylon basket fits this model.
Storage: Indoors at 41°F to 113°F, with the filter clean and no water inside.
Pools: In-ground and above-ground pools in concrete, vinyl, fiberglass, or tile.
Warranty
Term: 1 year on the main compartment, power supply, charger, and drive parts, and 6 months on the filter basket, brush scraper, track, and sponge brush, from the date of sale.
Not covered: Commercial or rental use, damage from renovation debris, sand, dust, or chemical or metal particles, flood, fire, lightning, drops, wrong voltage, failure to follow the instructions, foreign objects, unauthorized repair, and non-CHASING parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with an app?
No. It has no app, modes, or schedule. The Hydro 3 S adds app setup, three modes, and S-shaped path planning.
Can it stay in the pool between cleans?
It's not recommended. Long stays in the water affect its lifespan.
Will it work in a saltwater pool?
Yes, up to 5,000 ppm salt and 4 ppm chlorine, at pH 7.0 to 7.8.

Do I need the app?
There is no app for the Hydro 3. It runs one automatic Regular cycle from a single button. Scheduling and mode selection from a phone start with the Hydro 3 S.
How big a pool can it clean?
CHASING rates it for small pools of roughly 861 to 1,076 sq ft (80 to 100 m²) and depths of 1.6 to 9.8 ft. For pools up to about 1,615 sq ft, look at the Hydro 3 S or the corded Hydro 4 SE.
How do I get it out of the pool?
When the battery runs low it returns to the pool edge by itself, and a salvage hook is included for lifting it out.
How long does a charge last?
CHASING rates it at 200 minutes, about 3.3 hours, on a full charge.
Will it work in a saltwater pool?
Yes, within CHASING's limits: salt up to 5,000 ppm, chlorine up to 4 ppm and pH 7.0 to 7.8.
What is the difference from the Hydro 3 S?
The Hydro 3 S adds app control and scheduling, S-shaped path planning instead of the anti-resonance pattern, an ECO mode rated at 300 minutes, a larger pool rating and a two-year warranty instead of one.

Ships as a standard parcel with tracking, free within the contiguous U.S. The robot contains a lithium battery, so it travels by ground only.
Nothing to install. Charge the robot fully before first use (about 4 hours), then press start and lower it into the pool. Take it out, rinse the filter and recharge between cleans.
Warranty: 1 year from CHASING.
