Beta C58BC Workbenches

A bench, not a system

RSC50 and C45PRO are modular ranges you plan against a wall. C58BC is the opposite proposition: a self-contained workbench with its drawers built in, that you put where the work happens.

At 75 cm the worktop is deeper than either modular range. If your bay has one place where everything gets done and no appetite for a full wall run, this is the more sensible buy.

Drawers in the bench

Storage is part of the structure rather than a separate cabinet pushed underneath, so the bench stays rigid and the drawers stay square under load.

What you are buying

  • Worktop choices

    Multi-ply wood or stainless-steel-coated MDF. Wood for a bench that takes knocks and can be sanded back; stainless for one that meets fluids and solvents regularly.

  • The model we are quoting

    C58BC-W2,1 4CA/O+SVR LED, Beta item 058000743. The SVR superstructure carries 4 perforated tool panels of 1,015 x 400 mm on 6 uprights, with provision for a 19-inch rack multi-socket. The LED version adds integrated lighting along the run.

What does the C58BC cost?

Beta has not issued us a US list for this range, so the figure below is indicative rather than a quote. It is derived from current European trade pricing for the same items, checked against the US list we already hold for Beta's stocked lines. We confirm the real number in writing before you order.

As a planning range, the C58BC-W2,1 4CA/O+SVR LED as configured below lands around $2,400 to $3,300. Bench length, worktop material and extra drawer modules move it. Tell us the configuration and we will confirm the figure.

What is in the SVR LED superstructure?

Per Beta's published documentation the SVR superstructure comprises 3 support brackets, 6 uprights of 400 mm, 2 supports of 1,015 mm with provision for one 19-inch rack multi-socket (the socket itself is not included), and 4 perforated tool panels measuring 1,015 x 25 x 400 mm. The panels take standard Beta hooks and accessories.

The LED version adds integrated lighting along the superstructure. Beta has not published a figure for the lamp's output, so we do not state one.

How long does it take?

Six to eight weeks. It is built to order and shipped in, not pulled from US stock. Plan the order around the build rather than the other way round.
