Ships freight — what to expect
Description
Twelve Beta C58BC workbenches in one place: two lengths, two worktops, and the drawer and door-module layouts between them. Each is one freestanding working position on a 29.5 in. (75 cm) deep steel frame — it arrives as a workstation, not a run to be planned.
W is a multi-ply wood worktop and X is stainless-steel-coated MDF; 1.6 and 2.1 are the length in meters; C counts the drawers and A adds a lockable door module. Choose a model and a drawer color above, and the full specification for that model is set out below.
Shipping and Delivery
Lead time: Special order — typically 6–8 weeks, depending on Beta's container ordering cycle and stock in Italy.
Freight: Ships on a pallet to the 48 contiguous states, curbside on a liftgate truck. The carrier lowers it to the curb and does not bring it inside, so plan help for the last stretch. Freight is shown at checkout.
Returns: This item is brought in from Italy for your order, so it cannot be returned for a change of mind. If it arrives damaged or defective, our return and refund policy covers it: report shipping damage within 48 hours of delivery and a defect within 30 days.
Key Features
Worktop: Multi-ply wood or stainless-steel-coated MDF, 1.5 in. (38 mm) thick, with holes for a Beta 1599F/150 or 1599GI/150 vise, ordered separately.
Drawers: Ball-bearing slides, foamed rubber mats, and a front centralized lock. Each drawer takes up to four EVA foam or ABS thermoformed trays.
Colors: Drawers come in RAL 2011 orange or RAL 7016 anthracite at the same price, and the frame is anthracite either way. The open-frame W1.6 and X1.6 have no drawers.
Frame: Steel, with lower half-shelf storage 1.6 in. (40 mm) thick.
Accessories: The C58PFL perforated side panel and the C58BAC anti-fall edge for the bench length are ordered separately.

Plain answers
Can I get a stainless top on a 63 in. bench with drawers?
No. At 63 in. the stainless top comes only on the X1.6 open frame, so a stainless top with drawers means going to 83 in.: the X2.1 4C, 4CA or 8CA. The X top is stainless-steel-coated MDF, and the W models use 1.5 in. multi-ply wood.
How high is the bench?
Beta lists 35.6 in. (904 mm) overall on the W1.6 2C, W1.6 4C and the 83 in. four-drawer bench. If you are matching another surface, ask us to confirm the model you want before you order.
What do the 2,205 lb and 1,764 lb ratings cover?
Both are static loads, evenly distributed across the bench: 2,205 lb on the 63 in. models and 1,764 lb on the 83 in. models. Beta gives no figure for a load concentrated on one spot, so plan around the even-load number.
What is not included with the bench?
A vise, the C58PFL perforated side panel and the C58BAC anti-fall edge are all ordered separately, and the bench holes suit a Beta 1599F/150 or 1599GI/150 vise. Those add-ons are not listed on this page, so contact us if you want any of them.
Can I add tool panels above the bench?
Beta makes the W2.1 4CA with an SVR superstructure: four perforated tool panels above the bench, at 73.2 in. (1,860 mm) overall. It is a custom order and is not one of the models on this page, so contact us if you want it.
How heavy is the bench to get off the curb?
From 134.5 lb packed on the W1.6 to 434.3 lb on the X2.1 8CA. The carrier leaves it at the curb, so line up help or equipment for the last stretch, and walk the route to the tightest corner before you pick a length.
Can I cancel if I change my mind?
You can cancel for a full refund before the bench ships, so tell us right away. Once Beta has released it for shipment, a cancellation is treated as a return, and this special-order bench cannot be returned for a change of mind.
