Swisstrax Diamondtrax 12-Series — Interlocking Garage Floor Tile, 50-Pack

The Swisstrax Diamondtrax 12-Series 50-Pack is fifty 12 x 12 in tiles in one color, about 50 sq ft of diamond-plate floor. It is the same tile as the 10-pack, in a quantity that suits the field of a floor, a parking spot or a long border.

The tiles snap together by hand on a swept, dry slab, with no adhesive and no cure time, and a damaged tile pops out on its own with a flat screwdriver.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states and DC. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Packing: Each pack ships parcel ground from Georgia in one 13 x 13 x 26 in box, about 39 lb. An order of several packs may arrive on different days.

At delivery: Check every box against your order, and contact us within 48 hours with photos if anything arrives damaged.

What's Included

In the box: 50 Diamondtrax 12-Series tiles in one color. Edges and corners are separate: add them from the Add-ons on this page.

Installation and Compatibility

Acclimate: Let the tiles sit at 72°F or warmer for 24 hours before you lay them. Tiles for the door end do well with some time in direct sun first, so they expand before the open door lets the sun in.

Prep: Clear and sweep the slab. No grinding, etching or primer.

Gap: Leave at least 1/2 in at walls and anything fixed, such as cabinets, lift posts and support columns.

Layout: Work in rows from the back of the garage toward the door, with loops and pegs facing the same way on every tile.

Edges: On a wall-to-wall floor, edges are needed only across the door opening, between the door rails. A floor that stops short of the walls needs edges on every open side and a corner at each corner. Set door edges at least 2 in back from any step down to the driveway.

Cutting: Trim tiles at the walls with a circular saw, jigsaw or table saw and a fine-toothed blade.

Loose tiles slide: Do not walk on tiles that are not yet locked together.

Care: Clean with a wet mop, leaf blower or pressure washer. Keep battery acid and direct heat, such as a torch, off the floor. They are the two things the tiles do not resist.

Warranty

Term: 20-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, for single-family household use, on a floor installed and kept to Swisstrax's instructions. A defective tile is replaced.

Not covered: Commercial use, labor, shipping on replacements, cosmetic stains or discoloration, cuts, scratches, burns and dents, and damage from long direct sun exposure, from moisture or pressure coming up through the slab, or from gluing the tiles down.

Check as you lay: Look over each tile as it goes down. A tile installed with a visible defect is not covered.

Claims: Keep your receipt and the box labels, since a claim needs both. Contact us first with your order number and photos, and we file the claim with Swisstrax.

Returns: Within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging, under our return and refund policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it compare with the 10-pack?

Same tile and the same ten colors. The 50-pack is five times the tiles of one color in one box. Use 10-packs for accent colors and borders.

How many do I need?

Multiply the length by the width for square feet and divide by 50. A 20 x 20 ft floor is 400 sq ft, or eight 50-packs, plus a few extra tiles for cuts at the walls.

Can I park and jack a car on it?

Yes. Diamondtrax 12-Series is made for the home garage, parking included. Under a jack stand, set a rigid board on the tile to spread the load.

Can it go in a carport or on a patio?

No. Diamondtrax 12-Series is for indoor use. Ribtrax Smooth 12-Series is rated for indoors and out, and the two lock together.
