Description
A solid birch woodworking bench that grows with the person using it. The Junior/Senior ships with legs in two heights: Junior puts the top at 25-3/16 in. for a child, and Senior raises it to 33-7/8 in. for a teenager or adult.
The top is solid birch with double rows of dog holes, on a pine trestle, and four round 3/4 in. bench dogs are included. It is a compact bench, 39-11/32 in. long overall, for a corner of the garage or a shared workspace.

Freight: Ships by freight truck, curbside, within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii. On orders under $1,500, delivery to a commercial address with a dock or forklift is $199, and residential delivery with a liftgate is $374. From $1,500, commercial delivery is free and residential delivery is $175.
Boxes: The bench with cabinet 0022 ships in 2 boxes.
At delivery: Check the boxes before you sign, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and send us photos within 48 hours.

What's Included
Workbench only: The bench, Junior and Senior legs, and four round 3/4 in. bench dogs.
Workbench + 0022 cabinet: The same, plus storage cabinet 0022 in pine, 22 in. wide. It mounts in the bench base, fits the Senior height only, and cannot be used without the bench.
Installation and Compatibility
Assembly: Required. Tools are not included.
Changing height: Do not glue the leg joints during assembly, or the bench cannot be switched between Junior and Senior later.
Floor fixing: The trestle has pre-drilled holes for bolting the bench to the floor. Bolts are not supplied.
Placement: Keep it out of damp or humid rooms, which make the wood move.
Pairs with: The Nordic and Junior/Senior accessory kit, with a holdfast, anvil and jaw cushions.
Warranty
Term: 10 years on the bench and 2 years on cabinet 0022, against defects in materials and manufacture.
Condition: Use it in a room kept at 40 to 55% relative humidity.

What age is it for?
The Junior legs put the top at 25-3/16 in., suited to a child. The Senior legs raise it to 33-7/8 in. for a teenager or adult.
Can I switch between the two heights?
Yes. Both sets of legs come in the box. Don't glue the leg joints when you assemble it, or you can't switch later.
Does the cabinet fit at both heights?
No. Cabinet 0022 fits the Senior height only.
Is it a full-size bench?
No. The top is 33-15/32 in. long. The Nordic Plus 1450 has a 52-3/4 in. top.
How is it delivered?
By freight truck, curbside, and it needs assembly. Residential delivery includes a liftgate.

Can I switch between the Junior and Senior heights later?
Yes, as long as you do not glue the leg parts that swap. Sjobergs' assembly sheet says to leave parts B and C unglued from parts A and D, because B and C are reused when you change height.
Does the 0022 cabinet work at the Junior height?
No. It fits the Senior height only, and Sjobergs says it cannot be mounted separately. If the bench will stay at Junior height for a while, start with the workbench-only configuration.
Should it be bolted to the floor?
Yes. Sjobergs' safety guidance says benches prepared with anchoring holes must be anchored to the floor, and this trestle has pre-drilled holes. The fixing bolts are not supplied.
Do full-size holdfasts fit this smaller bench?
Yes. Sjobergs lists both the ST-03 and the ST-11 for the Junior/Senior, along with the 3/4 in. round dogs.
Where should we keep it?
Indoors, in a space that holds 40 to 55% relative humidity. Sjobergs says the bench must not be left in damp or humid conditions, and its warranty terms require that range.
How big is the box, and what do I need to build it?
The bench comes in a box of about 39-1/2 × 21-3/4 × 4-1/4 in. and 52 lb, per the US distributor's item data, and the 0022 cabinet adds a second box. You need a 17 mm wrench, which is not included.
