Description
The ALLPOWERS SE100 is a 100 W folding solar panel for charging a portable power station. The cells are sealed in a single ETFE laminate rather than stitched into fabric, and the panel is rated IP68.
It unfolds to 41.3 x 23.1 in, stands on its own kickstand, and folds to 23.1 x 23.1 in at 8.4 lb. 100 W is its rating at standard test conditions; on most days it delivers less.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery: Standard shipping at a flat rate, shown at checkout, within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
At delivery: Check the ETFE surface for scratches or impact marks before first use. Check the carton before you sign, and contact us within 48 hours with photos if anything arrives damaged.

Installation and Compatibility
Our stations: At 24.48 V open-circuit and 4.8 A, one panel fits every ALLPOWERS station we sell: the P1800 (11-60 V), the R4000 (12-60 V per input), and the R2500 V2 and S2000 Pro (12-150 V). Check the open-circuit voltage of a series string against the station's limit.
Series wiring: Two SE100 in series give about 49 V open-circuit, which suits all four stations.
Use pattern: It is built for portable charging, not permanent mounting. Do not leave it in the sun for more than a week at a time; fold it away when you are done.
Handling: It does not bend. Do not stand on it or rest more than 15 kg (33 lb) on it, and let it cool before you fold it into its box.
Water: It is rated IP68. If it ever shorts after getting wet, stop using it and contact us.

Will I get 100 W?
Rarely. 100 W is measured at standard test conditions. Sun angle, haze and heat all reduce output, so use the stand and aim it.
Can I leave it out in the rain?
Yes, it's rated IP68. Keep the connectors dry, and don't leave it out for weeks at a time.
Does it work with other brands of station?
Yes, if the station's solar input covers 24.48 V and 4.8 A and you use the right connector for that station.
Can I wire two together?
Yes. In series they give about 49 V open-circuit at 4.8 A, which every ALLPOWERS station we sell accepts.

Compatibility, wiring and real-world output
Which power stations will this work with?
Any station or charge controller whose PV input window covers 24.48V open-circuit and 4.8A — which is most of them. The ALLPOWERS R-series, plus other major brands, provided you use the right connector for that station. Check your station’s minimum PV start voltage too: at 24.48V open-circuit, a single panel is below the start threshold on some larger units.
Can I wire several panels together?
Yes. In series the voltages add and current stays put: two panels give roughly 49V open-circuit at 4.8A, three roughly 73V. In parallel the currents add: two panels give roughly 24.5V at 9.6A. Series is usually the better choice here, because it lifts you clear of a controller’s minimum start voltage and cuts cable losses on a long run. Stay under your station’s stated maximum PV voltage, and remember open-circuit voltage climbs in cold weather.
What does the laminated construction actually change?
Most foldable panels are cells sewn into a fabric case with folding hinges — the hinges and stitching are where they fail. The SE100 seals the cells into a single laminated sheet instead. It is thinner, stiffer and better protected against moisture ingress and flex fatigue, which is what makes the IP68 rating meaningful rather than decorative.
How much power will I really get?
The 100W rating is measured at standard test conditions. On a driveway in real weather, expect meaningfully less. Sun angle, haze, heat and dust all cost output, and a panel left flat rather than angled loses a large fraction of a day’s yield. Use the kickstand, aim it, and plan on realistic daily watt-hours rather than the nameplate figure.
Can I leave it out in the rain?
Yes. The IP68 rating covers water and dust immersion, so rain, snow and humidity are not a problem. What it will not tolerate is being bent, folded against the laminate or struck by something sharp — the ETFE encapsulation is the weatherproofing, and once it is punctured the rating means nothing.

At 8.4 lb (3.8 kg) folded to roughly 22 × 23 in, the panel ships standard ground parcel. Check the ETFE surface for scratches or impact marks before first use — the laminate is what protects the cells, and damage to it is much harder to argue after deployment.
