Description

This kit pairs the F3000 with one PS400 Bifacial solar panel, for 3,072 Wh at 3,600 W with a way to recharge without the grid. It suits someone who wants the station and a first panel in the same order.

One 400 W panel is a start, not an array. At its full rating it would need about 8 hours of direct sun to refill 3,072 Wh, and real conditions rarely reach that rating. The station takes up to 2,400 W of solar, so there is room for more panels.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

At delivery: It arrives in two cartons: the station weighs 91.5 lb and the panel 21.9 lb. Check the cartons before you sign, and contact us within 48 hours with photos if anything arrives damaged.

Key Features

Output: 3,600 W continuous at 120 V, with a 7,200 W surge and a 4,860 W SurgePad peak. It does not make 240 V on its own.

Outlets: A TT-30R carries the full 3,600 W at 30 A. The NEMA 5-20R outlets are rated 20 A, 2,400 W at most. USB-C gives 100 W per port, USB-A 12 W per port, plus a car socket and an Anderson DC port.

Wall charging: 1,800 W from a 120 V, 15 A outlet.

Generator charging: 3,600 W from a 120 V, 30 A generator, through the 120 V Generator Input Adapter, sold separately.

Solar: Up to 2,400 W across two inputs: 1,600 W on the high-voltage input (11 to 165 V) and 800 W on the low-voltage input (11 to 60 V).

PS400 Bifacial: A 400 W folding panel. N-type bifacial cells take direct sun on the front and light reflected from the ground on the back, for up to 10% more output over concrete, sand or snow.

Panel weight: 21.9 lb, folding to 22.3 x 38.7 x 3.1 in, so one person carries and sets it up.

Stand: Holds the panel at about 35 degrees, the best fixed setting for 10 AM to 5 PM across the US.

Weather: Rated IP68. Avoid heavy rain and never submerge it.

UPS: Switches to battery in 20 ms when the wall power drops.

Battery: LiFePO4, rated for 4,000 cycles.

What's Included

F3000: The F3000, an AC charging cable, a high-voltage solar charging cable, and the user manual.

PS400 Bifacial: The PS400 Bifacial panel, two 8.2 ft (2.5 m) PV extension cables, a 1.6 ft (0.5 m) PV-to-XT-60i charging cable, a quick start guide, and a safety card.

Installation and Compatibility

120 V only: A load on a 240 V circuit, such as a well pump, needs two F3000 stations and the Double Voltage Hub.

Placement: Use it in a dry, ventilated place, away from liquids and rain.

Expansion: Up to three BP3000 batteries on one station, for 12,288 Wh. The BP3800 battery is for the F3800 Plus and does not fit this station.

More than two panels: How several panels connect to the two solar inputs matters. Ask us before ordering more panels.

Handling: The panel frame gets hot in direct sun. Wear gloves to move it after use.

Warranty

Term: 5 years on the F3000 and the PS400 Bifacial.

Claims: Contact us first, with your proof of purchase and the serial number.

Returns: Within 30 days of delivery, under our return and refund policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will one panel keep it charged?

It tops it up. At its full rating it needs about 8 hours of direct sun to refill 3,072 Wh.

How many panels would refill it quickly?

Six fill an empty F3000 in about 1.5 hours at full solar input. Ask us how to connect them.

Will I get 400 W from the panel?

Rarely. 400 W is the rating. Real output depends on sunlight, orientation and angle.

Will it run a 240 V well pump?

No. The F3000 makes 120 V only. A 240 V load needs two stations and the Double Voltage Hub.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping Shipping is included in the price, to the contiguous U.S. Full timelines are in the shipping policy.

Returns follow the stated return window — see returns & exchanges. Freight returns are arranged by our team.

Lithium battery shipments travel by ground only, never air, and can carry destination restrictions. Feeding household circuits through a transfer switch needs a licensed electrician and, in most places, a permit and inspection.

400 W is the rating of the panel, not the output at the station. Expect less on most days.

120 V only. A 240 V load needs two stations and the Double Voltage Hub.

Connecting it to house circuits takes a transfer switch, sold separately.

Who it is for

For the station, plus a first panel

This kit is for someone buying the F3000 who wants a solar panel in the same order. One panel is a start, not a solar array. The station runs 120 V only; a 240 V load needs two stations and the Double Voltage Hub.

  • 3,072 Wh at 3,600 W

    At 120 V, through a TT-30R and NEMA 5-20R outlets.

  • A first panel

One 400 W PS400 bifacial panel at 21.9 lb, collecting from both faces.

  • Room for more solar

The station takes 2,400 W across two inputs, so one panel leaves plenty of headroom.

  • It rolls

The station has wheels and a pull handle.

Plain answers

How long will one panel take to refill it?

Even at its full 400 W rating, about 8 hours of direct sun for 3,072 Wh, by our arithmetic. Expect less than 400 W on most days.

Will it run a 240 V well pump?

No. The F3000 makes 120 V only.

How does it connect to my house?

Through a transfer switch, sold separately. Ask us which one fits your panel.
