Description

The Yarbo Core with Blower is leaf clearing on a schedule — one tracked chassis, one dock, and one navigation setup, ready for Yarbo's mower, snow blower, and trimmer modules when the season changes.

For a homeowner with mature trees, fall cleanup stops being a weekend job. It runs about 70 minutes per charge, then recharges at the dock.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Free within the 48 contiguous states. The order arrives in separate cartons — the Core, dock, battery, and each module — so plan for someone to be home and inspect each one before you sign.

Key Features

Y40 or Y40P: Y40P replaces the Y40's gearbox drive with gearbox-free dual hub motors. Top speed rises from 0.65 to 1.2 m/s and overall efficiency by about 15%, with less routine maintenance. The slope rating and working noise stay the same.

Positioning: The Y40 includes a Data Center, a local RTK base station that runs with no internet. The Y40P has no Data Center in the box and uses NetRTK instead, free for the life of the robot — no base station to mount, but it needs internet and coverage at your address, which the Yarbo app checks before setup.

Terrain: It handles 70% (35°) slopes and 2-inch obstacles, and keeps its position under tree cover with vision, IMU, and odometry.

Air output: 174 MPH air speed and 607 CFM from a 2,000 W motor, for leaves, dust, and light debris.

Product Specifications

Blower time per charge 70 min
Battery 36 V 38.4 Ah, 1.38 kWh
Charging, 20–80% 90 min
Max slope 70% (35°)
Operating range −13°F to 113°F

What's Included

In the box: Core, docking station, battery, wired charger, tow hitch, RTK and HaLow antennas, and tool kit. The Blower comes with a flexible hand tube. The Y40 adds a Data Center.

Installation and Compatibility

Setup: Map the yard in the Yarbo app, with no boundary wire. On the Y40, mount the Data Center with at least 120° of open sky. The Blower Module Cover pairs with this bundle as an add-on.

Later: Add the Lawn Mower Pro, Snow Blower Gen 2 and Trimmer Package to the same Core — another season is an attachment rather than another machine.

Warranty

Term: Two years for residential use, starting at app activation or three days after delivery, whichever comes first. Each module's warranty starts on its own.

Not covered: Consumables such as tracks, antennas, and nozzles, plus commercial, professional, or rental use and non-Yarbo parts.

Claims: Yarbo Support issues an RMA before anything ships back, and Yarbo covers the freight once it is approved.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can the blower clear?

Leaves, dust, and light debris, with about 70 minutes of run time per charge.

Does it charge itself?

Yes. It returns to the dock, recharges, and resumes the job.

Who changes the modules?

You do, as the season turns. They're quick-swap by design.

What if NetRTK doesn't reach my address?

Choose the Y40, which includes a Data Center, or add a Data Center to the Y40P.

The system

One Core. Five jobs.

Every module below runs on the same tracked body, battery, dock, and map. Swapping one for another is a driveway job — latches, not tools. The Core is bought once; the modules are the repeat purchase.

The year

Four seasons, one map

The property is mapped once. After that, the season decides the module — not another machine, another app, and another charger on the wall.

Spring · Summer

Grass

Mower decks cover about 0.3 acre per charge and up to 2 acres a day on a mow-and-recharge cycle, per Yarbo’s testing. Rain detection sends it home.

Fall

Leaves

The blower module pushes 607 CFM along routes you set once — lawn, drive, and walkways cleared on a schedule.

Winter

Snow

Two-stage clearing, 24 inches at a pass, thrown up to 40 feet — rated to −13°F, on paved, concrete, or gravel drives.

All year

Edges & errands

The trimmer arm finishes fence lines; the bare Core patrols, follows, tows up to 500 pounds*, and takes teleoperation when you want the wheel.

FAQ

Questions before you buy

How long does the blower run?

About 70 minutes per charge, from Yarbo’s testing on the Y40P platform, with roughly 1.5 hours to recharge.

Do I need to bury a boundary wire?

No. You map the property in the Yarbo app, and the robot holds position with RTK-GPS backed by vision, IMU and odometry. Changing a boundary later is an app edit, not a digging job.

Does it need internet or a cell plan?

Not for daily work, per Yarbo. The Data Center in the box is a local RTK base station that reaches the robot by radio, without internet or cellular. Yarbo’s community wiki lists initial setup and firmware updates among the jobs that do need internet, so plan on a connection where the Data Center mounts.

Who sets it up, and where does everything go?

You do, in the Yarbo app. The box includes the docking station, Data Center, antennas and an installation and tool kit. Yarbo asks for at least 120° of open sky at the Data Center, ideally at the highest point on the property, and moving it later means mapping again. Yarbo also offers one-on-one video setup and a map of volunteer installers.

Can it stay outside all year?

Yes. Yarbo’s community wiki, citing Yarbo’s engineers, says the robot is designed to stay outside on its dock through sun, rain and snow, within its −13°F to 113°F operating range.

What is the difference between Y40 and Y40P?

The drive. Y40P replaces the Y40’s gearbox with gearbox-free dual hub motors. Figures from Yarbo’s testing: top speed rises from 0.65 to 1.2 m/s, mowing from 0.25 to 0.3 acre per charge, and snow clearing from 6,000 to 7,000 sq ft per charge. The slope rating and the modules are the same.

Can I add modules later?

Yes. Each module fits both the Y40 and Y40P Core, and the Core, dock and Data Center stay the same. You can buy them from us when the season changes.

What does the warranty cover?

Yarbo gives a 2-year limited warranty for residential use. Its 2026 policy excludes consumables such as tracks, antennas, blades and belts, and it excludes commercial, professional and rental use. Shipping to its service center may be at your cost.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

No. Yarbo equipment is returnable for product defects only, so ask us anything you are unsure about before ordering. If it arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours. Our return policy has the details.

How is it delivered?

Free within the 48 contiguous states. It ships as large cartons, so plan for someone to be home, and inspect the cartons before you sign.

Before you order

Plain talk, as usual

The trimmer is a pre-order

Yarbo’s current published estimate for the Trimmer Package is delivery in January 2027. Configurations that include it ship complete when it does — we will confirm with Yarbo whether the rest can ship ahead, and confirm your date when the order is placed.

RTK wants sky

The data center needs a clear view upward, and placement matters more than most listings admit. Vision, IMU, and odometry carry the robot under trees — but coverage and runtime figures here come from Yarbo’s testing, and your terrain is the variable. Tell us about it first.

It arrives as freight

This is not a parcel-locker purchase — the Core and modules ship as large cartons (the snow blower module alone is about 80 pounds). Plan for someone to be home, and read the delivery band on our shipping policy before ordering.
