Description
This kit adds one more door to a Tailwind iQ3 2.1, which runs up to three dry contact doors on one controller. It holds everything that door needs: a commercial-grade aluminum door sensor, a mounting bracket, a control cable, a sensor cable, and wire clips.
Choose the sensor to suit the door. The J-Track kit clamps onto a standard 2 in J-track on a sectional door, and the Universal kit mounts above the door or on the floor, for other door types and gates.

Delivery: Free standard shipping on orders of $100 or more within the 48 contiguous states, and $12 on smaller orders. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.
Key Features
Door position: The aluminum sensor tolerates a gap of more than 2 in, so a loose door in wind still reads correctly. The sensor and magnet are potted and sealed against moisture.
Cables: The control cable and the door sensor cable are each 32 ft 9 in (10 m).
J-Track kit: Clamps onto standard 2 in J-track, with a 6-position locking connector. Avoid it if a lifting cable bracket glides over the J-track.
Universal kit: Mounts above the door or on the floor, and suits all door types and gates.

Installation and Compatibility
Controller: Works with the Tailwind iQ3 2.1 only. Not compatible with the iQ3 2.0 or the original 1st generation iQ3.
Opener type: Dry contact openers only. Digitally connected openers, such as a Chamberlain or LiftMaster with a yellow learn button, do not take additional doors.
Limit: Up to three doors per iQ3 2.1, so up to two kits on one controller.
Installation: We do not install. You run the cable and connect the door, or hire an installer to do it.
Warranty
Term: 1 year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which controller does it work with?
Only the Tailwind iQ3 2.1. It doesn't fit the iQ3 2.0 or the original 1st generation iQ3.
How many kits can one controller take?
Two. The iQ3 2.1 runs up to three doors: the first on the controller itself, plus up to two kits.
Can I use it with a digital opener?
No. Additional doors need dry contact openers. For digital openers, use one controller per door.
J-Track or Universal?
J-Track for a standard sectional door, unless a lifting cable bracket glides over the track. Universal for other doors and gates.
How long are the cables?
The control cable and the door sensor cable are each 32 ft 9 in (10 m).
