Sommer Telecody Courier — In-Garage Delivery Keypad Transmitter, Black or White

The Sommer Telecody Courier is a wireless garage door keypad that lets a delivery driver leave a parcel inside your garage without ever gaining access to the house. You set a code and a maximum opening height, and the door rises far enough for a box to go under it and no further. The rest of the time it works as an ordinary garage door keypad for the household.

Let deliveries in without giving away your house

Give a delivery service a courier code and the door opens only to the height you allow, anywhere from about 12 in up to about 6 ft. Parcels end up out of the weather and out of sight from the street, and the driver never reaches the internal door. The receiver sends a confirmation of receipt back to the keypad, so you know the command was accepted.

Decide how much access each courier gets

Courier delivery can be set to a single button press or to a numeric code up to nine digits long. Use the single button for a service you deal with every week; use a long code where you want the opening tied to one carrier. For security, all access codes should be programmed before the courier function is switched on.

Keypad entry for the household, with no app and no account

This is off-cloud access. There is no account to create and no app sitting in the middle of your garage door, so nothing stops working when a server does. Telecody Courier doubles as a standard wireless keypad for everyday entry, can act as a 12-button remote with single-digit access, and operates up to 10 doors from one unit.

Made to live outdoors

The housing is IP64 rated and works from -4 to 131 F, so a wall beside the driveway is a normal place to put it. The keypad is backlit for use after dark. An aluminum mounting sleeve holds it in place and lifts off easily if you would rather carry it, and both the active time and the transmission delay are programmable.
