Sommer Curved Door Arm — Reaches Over Struts and Top Sections
Description
A cranked steel door arm that reaches over a strut, the top section or another obstruction to meet a face-mounted door bracket. Paired with the GDO connection coupler it is the combination that recovers four to five inches of clearance above the door.
Fits most openers, not only Sommer
Sommer states the curved door arm can be used with most brands of garage door opener, including every Sommer operator sold in North America. If you are replacing a straight arm that will not clear a strut, this is usually the part.
