The Autel MaxiCharger 80A is Autel's fastest home charger: 19.2 kW at 240 V, adding up to 70 miles of range per hour of charging, or about 140 miles in two hours on a compatible EV. It suits two EVs, a long-range truck, or a vehicle that has to be full every morning.
It is hardwired on a 100 A circuit, adjusts down to 16 A in steps, and carries a 5-year warranty that replaces the charger rather than repairing it.

In the box: The main unit with its 25 ft J1772 cable, the wiring box, a quick reference guide, amperage labels and mounting accessories.
Installation and Compatibility
Hardwired only: There is no plug at 80 A. The charger lands on a dedicated circuit.
Circuit: Full 80 A output needs a 100 A circuit, and your panel and service have to carry it. Have a licensed electrician size the breaker and conductors before you order.
Lower settings: If the panel cannot spare 100 A, the charger can run at a lower setting on a smaller circuit, sized at 125% of the current you set.
Permits: High-amperage EV circuits are normally permitted and inspected work. Check local requirements early.
NACS vehicles: A Tesla or other NACS vehicle charges through a compatible J1772-to-NACS AC adapter, which is not included.
Detached garage: If Wi-Fi does not reach the charger, run an Ethernet cable while the walls are open.
Rebates: Utility and state EV charger rebates vary by area. Check your provider's current program before you order.
Warranty
Term: 5 years from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship, for chargers used in the US.
Replacement: The warranty covers the charger body, backplate and internal components, and a defective unit is replaced rather than repaired.
Not covered: Misuse, accidents, lightning and other storm damage, repairs or changes not made by Autel, installation or use against the manual, use outside normal home charging, and normal wear.
Claims: Keep your order confirmation. Contact us first with your order number and a description of the fault, and we take the claim to Autel. Autel repairs the charger or replaces it with one of equal specification, which may be refurbished.
Returns: Within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging, under our return and refund policy.

What circuit does it need?
A 100 A circuit for the full 80 A. A licensed electrician should confirm your panel and service can carry it.
Can I run it lower until I upgrade my panel?
Yes. Set it to 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 50, 64 or 72 A in the app, on a circuit sized at 125% of that current.
How much faster is it than a 50 A charger?
It adds up to 70 miles of range an hour, against up to 48 for Autel's 50 A home chargers, on a car that accepts the power.
Will it charge my Tesla?
Yes, through a compatible J1772-to-NACS AC adapter, which is not included. For no adapter at all, the AC Lite Home NACS has the NACS connector built in.

What buyers ask before they order an 80A station
What circuit does an 80A charger need?
An 80A continuous load is normally fed from a dedicated 100A circuit, because the NEC sizes continuous loads at 125 percent. Have a licensed electrician size the breaker and conductors and confirm your service capacity before you order.
Is it hardwired, or does it plug in?
This model is hardwired. There is no NEMA plug, which is what allows it to run at the full 80A. If you would rather plug in, the Autel AC Lite Home 40A uses a NEMA 14-50 outlet instead.
Will it charge my EV?
It uses the J1772 connector, which covers the great majority of EVs sold in North America. Vehicles with a NACS port charge through the adapter supplied with the car, or you can choose the Autel NACS model instead.
My panel is close to its limit. Can I still use it?
Yes. Output current is adjustable, and the station identifies household demand and distributes what is left rather than taking everything at once. Your electrician can also set a hard limit when the unit is commissioned.
What happens if the Wi-Fi drops out?
Charging carries on. Autel pairs Wi-Fi with a Wi-SUN mesh path as a backup, so scheduling and session records survive a router outage.
How long does installation take?
Autel quotes about ten minutes to mount and connect the unit itself thanks to its one-click modular design, and roughly three minutes to swap a component later. The electrical work is the longer part of the job.
