Description
The Dory Sentry PLUS is a 3,800 Wh battery generator in a steel enclosure. It delivers 2,400 W continuously and 4,800 W surge at 120 V, and it doubles as an uninterruptible power supply: devices plugged into it keep running when the grid drops.
It recharges from a wall outlet in about 2.5 hours or from 800 W of solar in about 3.5 hours, with no fuel and no noise.

Installation and Compatibility
Plug in what you need: Devices and appliances plug straight into the Sentry's own outlets. There is nothing to install.
120 V only: The PLUS runs 120 V devices. For 240 V appliances, the Sentry PRO Max has 240 V output.
Home circuits: Running household circuits from a Sentry needs a transfer switch or interlock fitted by a licensed electrician, and most areas need a permit. None of that hardware is included.
Solar panels: Not included. Match the panels to the Sentry's solar input rating.
Where it goes: Indoors near the devices it backs up, on a floor that takes its weight.
Warranty

What does the UPS function do?
Plug devices into the Sentry while it is connected to the wall. When grid power drops, the Sentry keeps them running without a break, which suits computers, routers and medical devices.
About how long will it run my appliances?
On a full charge, roughly 4 days for a refrigerator, 3 days for a furnace, 12 days for a CPAP machine, or 18 days of cooking three meals a day in a microwave. Real runtime depends on each appliance's draw and how many share the battery.
Can it run my home's circuits?
Not through its own outlets. Connecting it to your home's circuits needs a transfer switch or interlock and a licensed electrician. Plan the circuits you need with your electrician first.
How does it compare with the Sentry PRO?
