Additional Hardware Kit

The HK100 Additional Hardware Kit lets you mount an Auxx-Lift Storage Lift with its rails running parallel to the ceiling joists. The lift comes with the hardware for rails that run across the joists, so the kit is only needed for the other direction.

In practice it turns the platform 90 degrees from the standard layout, so the lift can sit the way your garage needs it.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery: Free standard shipping within the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii.

Dispatch: It ships from Auxx-Lift by UPS Ground. Transit is typically 1 to 5 business days within the 48 states, and the delivery estimate shows at checkout.

At delivery: Check the box before you accept it, and contact us within 48 hours with photos of the box, the packing and the item if anything arrives damaged.

Key Features

Required for parallel rails: If the rails would run with the joists, the lift cannot be mounted without it.

Turns the layout: The long side of the platform normally runs with the joists. The kit lets it run across them.

Any ceiling: Joists, rafters or a sloped ceiling.

Complete kit: Two strut channels with the brackets, spring nuts and bolts to fasten them.

What's Included

In the box: Two strut channels, four strut brackets, eight spring nuts and eight hex-head strut bolts.

Installation and Compatibility

Check first: Find which way the joists run where the lift will go, and order the kit with the lift if the rails will run parallel to them.

Fits: The Auxx-Lift Storage Lift, sold separately.

Framing: If you are not sure what your ceiling framing can carry, have a contractor check it before the lift goes up.

Installer: Fitting the kit is part of the lift installation. Installation is not included.

Warranty

Term: 2 years from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship in personal, normal household use. Coverage ends if the original buyer sells or transfers the product.

Not covered: Installation, commercial use, accidents, misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs or changes, attachments not supplied with the product, extension cords, power outages, fire, flood and other acts of nature, and failure to follow the Owner's Manual.

Claims: Keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase. Contact us first with your order number and a description of the fault, and we take the claim to Auxx-Lift. Once the defective part or product is returned, Auxx-Lift sends replacement parts or replaces the product, new or reconditioned. Shipping on warranty replacements is paid by the customer.

Returns: Within 30 days of delivery, unused and in the original packaging, under our return and refund policy.

Do I need it?

Only if the lift rails would run parallel to your joists. Rails that run across the joists use the hardware in the lift box.
