The Beta RSC28 SuperTank is a ten-drawer rolling tool cabinet with a full wood bench top, a lockable side locker and 2,645 lb of load capacity. It is what you buy when a roller cabinet has stopped being enough: a workstation on wheels rather than a toolbox, and the last piece of storage a home workshop needs.

Work on top of it, not just out of it

The wood work surface measures 48.6 x 31.5 x 1.25 in, with a recessed tray for small parts and pre-drilled holes for a vice. Bolt a vice down and the cabinet becomes a bench you can wheel to the job instead of carrying the job to the bench.

Ten drawers, and none of them dent

Ten drawers run on ball-bearing slides with foam rubber mats in every base: eight at 23 x 14.8 x 2.75 in and two at 23 x 14.8 x 8.25 in. The fronts are nylon and fiberglass rather than painted steel, so a dropped wrench leaves nothing behind. Central locking secures the whole stack at once.

Somewhere for the things that never fit in a drawer

A lockable side compartment measuring 24.25 x 11.75 x 18.5 in takes tool cases, power tool kits and extension leads on an adjustable shelf. Six side shelves hold bottles and spray cans, and a 46 x 31 x 5 in under-worktop area keeps the things you reach for every hour within arm's length.

Loaded, it still moves where you push it

Total load capacity is 2,645 lb, or 1,200 kg, on four industrial 6 in casters: two fixed, two swivel with brakes. An integrated handle gives you some control pushing it about, which matters at this weight.

Most rolling cabinets are drawer stacks with a lid. The SuperTank is built to be worked on: the wood top comes pre-drilled for a vice, and the frame and casters are sized so that mounting one is not wishful thinking.

If you want a cabinet that also serves as the bench in a single-bay garage, this is the one. If you want a lighter cabinet that rolls to the car, look at the RSC24 instead — it is Italian-made, held in US stock, and considerably easier to move.
