Why it works in a serious garage

50A, 12 kW. Full Level 2 output, not a de-rated 32A unit. A commuter car is topped up in a couple of hours and any EV in the household is full overnight.
Hardwired, so there is no outlet to depend on. It removes the NEMA plug as a failure point and lets your electrician route conductors and place the unit where it actually suits the bay.
25 ft J1772 cable. Long enough to cover two parking positions from one wall location. Short cables are the most common regret on a first install.
Five setup paths: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, CAN and RS485. Wired Ethernet is the one that matters in a detached garage where Wi-Fi drops, and CAN and RS485 let the unit talk to building or energy-management systems.

Before you install

Hardwired, not plug-in. The unit lands on a dedicated 240V circuit, so budget for the electrician and, in most areas, a permit.
Size the circuit for a continuous load. A 50A continuous load calls for a dedicated 60A circuit, and your panel has to carry it. Get that confirmed before you order.
Plan the mount around the cable. Twenty-five feet is generous, but the connector still has to reach the charge port on the side the car parks.
Detached garage? Run the Ethernet while the walls are open. It is the difference between an app that works and an app that does not.
