The Sommer SOMlink S2 is a Wi-Fi service interface that opens up a Sommer garage door opener from your phone, tablet or laptop. It bridges the drive to a browser and exposes the settings, limits and diagnostic history a wall station never shows. If you install, commission or maintain Sommer operators, this is the tool that replaces guesswork.
Commission an operator properly, not by trial and error
SOMlink S2 handles limit settings, force settings, safety device setup, radio learn and radio delete, with more than 100 adjustable settings behind it: lighting, motor speed, automatic closing, partial opening and reaction control among them. A door that has been set up through SOMlink behaves the way the installer intended.
Read the fault instead of chasing it
The unit reads out more than 60 diagnostic codes together with historical data, so an intermittent fault has a record rather than a story. That turns a second site visit into a phone call.
Works across the whole Sommer range, not just garage doors
The same interface serves garage door operators, gate operators, industrial door operators, barrier arms, external receivers and Memo. One tool covers a mixed site.
Nothing leaves the building
All data is processed and stored on the SOMlink and its Memo. There is no transmission to external servers and no account to create. Your device joins the Wi-Fi network the SOMlink provides and you reach the interface at http://somlink.lokal or 10.0.0.1, either by scanning the QR code on the back, using Sommer's Android app, or entering the network details by hand.
